What are we doing here?

Hi, this website is me picking a direction for "free time" development. I've been building small pet projects for years in the background, but I'm now wanting to pull that together, and make something out of my efforts.

What are you building?

I'm starting small with my first project, PapTopTaa, which will mostly be focused really on me learnign how Steam publishing works, and getting something into the world.

Based on what I've built in the past, I'd expect games that are systems-driven. I've had a longstanding love for titles such as Dwarf Fortress, XCom, FTL, and in more recent years bigger titles like Baldurs Gate 3 and Balatro. I'd also expect a decent amount of "online-ness" to my games - I'm pretty deft with a kubes cluster, and I'll expect I'll lean into that.

Outside of that, I'm mostly just excited to be putting pen to paper, in a serious way!
